Charlotte Symphony: Yefim Bronfman Plays Beethoven's Emperor Concerto

When: Tue., Sept. 12, 7:30-9:30 p.m. 2017
Phone: 704-972-2000
Time-honored piano great Yefim Bronfman joins your Charlotte Symphony for this opening night special event concert. Lauded as "one of the greatest pianists active today" by The New York Times, Bronfman, affectionately called Fima, returns to the Queen City to perform Beethoven's exhilarating Emperor Concerto under the direction of Music Director Christopher Warren-Green. Bronfman replaces Lang Lang, who regrettably announced a cancelation of all of his concerts through the middle of September, as recommended by his doctor, due to inflammation in his left arm. Lang Lang will take this time to rest and allow his arm to heal.
