Coldplay will launch its first North American tour in nearly three years . The band is touring in support of its new RIAA-certified Platinum record, Mylo Xyloto, which has scored the most No. 1 rankings of any album this year worldwide, topping the charts in 34 countries to date. Mylo Xyloto’s first two singles have received GRAMMY nominations – “Every Teardrop is a Waterfall” for Best Rock Performance and Best Rock Song, and the Gold-certified “Paradise” for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance. Coldplay was nominated for a People’s Choice Award in the Favorite Band category.
