Internationally regarded flutist Tadeu Coelho will be joined by Davidson Artist Associate David Gilliland for a thrilling performance of Bach’s Chaconne, Franck’s Sonata in A Major, and Prokofiev’s Sonata in D Major. Coelho, a member of the faculty at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts since 2002, has a well-established career as a soloist, chamber musician, and master clinician throughout Europe, Asia, Australia and the Americas. Davidson is glad to welcome Coelho to the Sloan Music Center for his first performance on campus.
