This award-winning documentary follows three children who are at schools that have embraced el Sistema, the phenomenal youth orchestra program from Venezuela that brings focus, confidence, and a positive trajectory to children living in low income areas. Surprises, heartbreak, and joy come in big doses as we watch these three young people respond to the mysterious power of music.
The evening will include special guest student musicians from MusicalMinds NC, a local non-profit organization providing after-school music instruction for students in Huntersville, NC.
Free and open to the public.
