Leave it up to the director to make a sound choice, and that's what N.C. Dance Theatre's Jean-Pierre Bonnefoux did for its latest show, properly titled, Director's Choice. The performance -- sweeping through Knight Theater May 13 through May 15 -- gives prominence to three ballets, including George Balanchine's "Apollo," Mark Godden's "Constructing Juliet" and a premiere by Dwight Rhoden (a former member of Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, whose choreography has been used in the TV show So You Think You Can Dance).
