There is a storm coming to Oppression, South Carolina and its name is Ann Stinson. Ann, who appears to have fallen from the sky, stands accused of the violent race fueled murder of a 6 year-old white female. Psychiatrist J. Baker is in a fight against time and her vindictive nurse Marilyn to establish Ann’s suitability to stand trial while the sole inhabitants of Oppression: Fixna, Mama Joe, Fussy, and Rita scramble to solve the mystery of her sudden appearance before justice determines Ann’s ultimate fate.
