You won’t want to miss hearing Michael Dickerson, the Director of Mecklenburg’s Board of Elections, when he joins the League of Women Voters Charlotte Mecklenburg’s “Lunch with the League” on the day following the Primaries. Some of the topics that he plans to address include a timely and unique recap of the election, as well as updates on recent court cases and legislation. Mr. Dickerson, a former assistant with the Federal Elections Commission, has served in his current position since 1998. With the general election imminent, this is a perfect opportunity to inquire about issues such as cybersecurity, early voting.
