Mary Tuma’s work addresses issues of the transformation of the body and the spirit through the use of clothing forms applied to found objects or placed within a contextual environment to evoke a feeling of loss or distant memory. Tuma is associate professor of fibers at UNC Charlotte. Opening reception on Jan. 15, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Held in Rowe Galleries.
