Dr. Anita Ravi is the founder and clinical director of the PurpLE Clinic at the Institute for Family Health, and a leader in the field of human trafficking and health. PurpLE (Purpose: Listen and Engage) Clinic is a clinic targeted to the needs of survivors of trauma, including human trafficking, rape and domestic violence. She will be speaking at Davidson College at 4:00 pm April 1; her lecture is sponsored by the Public Lectures Committee, English, Pre-Med, Gender & Sexuality Studies, and Health and Human Values, and is free to the public.
