www.dublindogfoundation.org.
The Dublin Dog Foundation (DDF), a local Charlotte nonprofit, will host a charitable art auction on August 25, 2011 to raise $25,000 for the training and care of a service dog (including medical bills, training and food) to be donated to 10-year-old Clarke. The Dublin Dog Foundation chose Clarke, who was born with a genetic disorder that left him non-verbal and non-mobile, as this year’s deserving recipient. The DDF has partnered with paws4people, who once the $25,000 is raised, will work one-on-one with Clarke and his family to make the transition with the service dog smooth and successful.
