Join us at the UNCC Botanical Gardens for two events celebrating Earth Day!
10am-12pm: Gardening for Earth Day: Butterflies, Songbirds and Bees, $25 Members / $30 Non-Members
This workshop will discuss the ways we can make a difference in the ecological well-being of our planet, native pollinators and growing food.
11am-2pm: “Gardens and Verses: An Earth Day Celebration” (free!) is an event cosponsored by the Department of English and the Gardens. Join us for poetry lessons, a literary scavenger hunt, literary readings and an “open mic” for those who wish to share original work. Some light snacks will be provided.
