Electrician (Oakland CA)

When: Thu., Dec. 6, 8 p.m. 2012
Price: $5-7
Deep in a dim-lit room somewhere in Oakland, Neil Campau, formerly of the anarchist-folk duo World History and most well-known for founding DoDIY.org, has been writing and recording new songs for his newest incarnation "Electrician." The songs have been coined "electro-folksongs about social war and relationships" and have been compared to artists such as Will Oldham, Bill Callahan, and/or Phil Eleverum. Electrician is now on a three-month U.S. tour and will be passing through Charlotte. The project will be touring as a duo and you can see them live at The Milestone on December 6.
