Envisioning America

Sunday, September 23

Haven't taken a trip through American history in a while? Too lazy to open a book? Don't fret, then, friend. We have just the ticket to satisfy even the most egg-headed of quandaries. An American Vision: Henry Francis Du Pont's Winterthur Museum is a walk through time, chronicling the periods from 1640 to 1860 with decorative and fine arts. This five-theme exhibition contains over 300 objects, so hurry for one last look. It closes today. 12-5 p.m. $3-$6. The Mint Museum of Art, 2730 Randolph Rd. 704-337-2000.
