Exhibit: Bright Light, Big City

This solo exhibit showcases new works by Susan Grossman, New York artist and drawing instructor at the National Academy School of Fine Arts. Grossman creates dreary cityscapes that pop with smidgens of color. She finds her muse in the streets of New York City, where she captures the imagery of everyday city life through her lens before taking to canvas.

Exhibit continues through May 19. Jerald Melberg Gallery, 625 S. Sharon Amity Road. 704-365-3000. www.jeraldmelberg.com.
