EXHIBIT: Divine Introspection

For Kansas native and South Carolina-based Carl Blair, art is more than meets the eye. The color-blind artist has earned a reputation both regionally and nationally for his vibrant abstract paintings — see the pictured "Drifting Towards the West." This month, don't miss out on viewing some of Blair's new works on canvas and paper during the Divine Introspection exhibit at Elder Gallery.

Continues through Dec. 31. Gallery hours: Tuesday-Friday, 10 a.m.-5:30 p.m.; Saturday, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Elder Gallery, 1427 South Blvd. 704-370-6337. www.elderart.com.
