Exhibit: Triennial Revisited CL Recommends

When: Aug. 18-Sept. 25 2011
The works of four faculty members at Winthrop University - Jim Connell (ceramics), Phil Moody (photography), Beth Melton (sculpture/foundations) and Tom Stanley (painting) - are making the long haul to showcase at The 701 Center for Contemporary Art in Columbia. The exhibit contains art by 18 South Carolina artists and takes a hard look the state's art scene during 1992-2004. The previous time frame is significant in that the S.C. State Museum and the S.C. Arts Commission organized the original five Triennial exhibitions during those years.
