Fall Fun

Sunday, September 30

The Willow Maze was opened yesterday after seven months stuck in development. Need a quick way to "misplace" a kid? Bring 'em to try out the many twists and turns among its dappled willow plantings. A zoo of animals made out of bushes will also be on display during the Fall Family Festival to thrill the kids and help the adults find their inner wild child. This weekend-long event has something for the entire family, even you. Come out and usher in fall in fashion. A bag of school supplies will shave $2 off the admission price. 9 a.m.-3 p.m. $5-410. Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden, 6500 S. New Hope Rd, Belmont N.C. 704-825-4490. www.dsbg.org.
