Fat Panda Tuan –– A multi-talented influencer 


Among the famous well-trained globally renowned professionals, there are some self-taught experts that are multi-talented and respected in any field. These talented individuals carry contagious energy and are known for inspiring everyone around them because of their unique personalities, skills, and professionalism.

Fat Panda Tuan is one of them. It would be difficult to define him as one person, he is a jack of all trades. Whether it is about being an influencer, a personal trainer,  authentic food enthusiast, a  musician, an anime visual expert, a traveler or a video game freak –– Tuan is a person who knows how to live and enjoy life.


Tuan, moved to the United States at an early age from Saigon, Vietnam to Gaithersburg Maryland.  He currently lives in Germantown, Maryland.  He is known for his exceptional creations in music and anime art; by integrating hip hop and Asian culture. Tuan's favorite animals are Pandas and Dogs. He also has a pet named baby she is a pit bull boxer.

Artistic Family Background:

His mother is a professional artist that has been premiered in major art outlets and magazines. She ran a Gourmet catering business serving strictly weddings and big parties, Tuan also supported her in running that business.  His dad is a successful Vietnamese musician with over 30 years of experience in the music industry.  Tuan's father is a well known Vietnamese keyboard player; known to play at the many high-end restaurants in Saigon, Vietnam.  Tuan's artistic family background naturally influenced him to create music at an early age.

How Fitness Changed his life:

Tuan dealt with depression growing up.  His parents were separated and eventually divorced while he was in junior high.  Through high school, he developed an unhealthy habit of eating and he lived a very sedentary lifestyle.  His unhealthy diet and low self-esteem developed into a struggle with his mental health.  One day, Tuan decided he was going to take control of his lifestyle. Fat Panda Tuan gradually changed his habits with a healthy diet and a life-changing fitness journey. 

The more he worked out, the stronger he became mentally and physically. Fitness changed his life and gave him more confidence to be successful in music and pursue a career in the fitness industry. Tuan went from struggling with major weight problems, to eventually becoming an outstanding personal trainer.  He studied and achieved three personal training certifications that are accredited by the NCAA.  He was eventually promoted to a general manager at LA Fitness, and he managed several locations.  Becoming a personal trainer & fitness coach added more tenacity to his life and music career.


A career as a musician:

Tuan was doing exceptionally well in the fitness industry through his career but he felt as something was missing.  It was nothing else but the music. No doubt, music is like food for the soul. The best therapy in stress and depression. He had realized that creating music made him happier.  The balance was needed in his life and music provided just that. 

Fat Panda Tuan is well known for his style of incorporating popular Asian culture and today's modern hip hop into his music.  He gained popularity after releasing the LP "Shinobi Tempura" in 2018.   His project was produced by platinum producer Kid Ocean Beats; with a huge YouTube channel over 350k+ subscribers. 

If he wasn't a musician:

If Tuan wasn't a musical artist.  He could see himself running a fitness industry, ramen or sushi, or pho restaurant, or owning a music recording studio. Tuan has visited Japan and has traveled to 6 different cities including Osaka, Kyoto, and Tokyo. He also strongly believes that cooking, eating healthy, training the body, music is the therapy for the mind. It relates to one another.
