The Yiasou Greek Festival celebrates Greek culture in the Q.C., with a taste of cuisine (can you resist the baklava?), entertainment, including music and dancing, shopping at the open air market and more. But, what sets this festival apart from others are the guided tours of Charlotte's own Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral. Not only do you get a lesson in the church's history, but you can also stare down the impressive structure and its artifacts, while listening to a choral performance. $2; Children 12 and under get in free, accompanied by a parent or guardian; School groups and seniors can make arrangements for free admission.
