Local Charlottean Thomas Griles knows the economy still sucks. For that reason alone, he'll be hosting the second annual Griles Street Festival. The free fest - featuring live music (Modern Primitives, Chalkies, Mannish Boys), DJs (Marlon Young, Brad Pressley), performers (BethAnn Phetamine, Lilth DeVille), food and more - is aimed at allowing folks to forget their economic blues, as they unwind and enjoy. Held at 5116 Elder Ave.
