FILM: Knowledge is the Beginning

Monday, March 2

The 5th Annual Charlotte Jewish Film Festival, which kicked off on Feb. 28, continues with screenings of Jewish films from around the world. The purpose of the festival is to educate, as well as to entertain, and give those attending the chance to see foreign movies that might not always be readily available at local movie rental stores. Some of the films delve deep into explorations of Muslim-Jewish relations. This includes the film Knowledge is the Beginning, which will be screened today at the Main Library. Free. 6:30 p.m. PLCMC-Main Library, 310 N. Tryon St. For more information on films being shown, times, locations, tickets and other information, visit www.charlottejewishfilm.com.
