First Knight

Thursday, April 5

Those nasty little green monsters, commonly referred to as canker worms, are back. Know what that means, right? It's spring, signifying the start of baseball season. The Charlotte Knights, the local farming team for the Chicago White Sox, will host the Pawtucket Red Sox tonight in their home opener. Even more incentive to attend, besides the fact that this is America's favorite pastime and all (yada, yada, yada), is that tonight's game falls on a Thirsty Thursday leading your gullet to remember drink specials. $7-$12. 7:15 p.m. Knights Stadium, 2280 Deerfield Dr, Fort Mill, S.C. 704-357-8071.
