Monday, Feb. 12

IMAX presents Deep Sea to delight of fishfolk and man alike! "Audiences will be transported below the ocean surface to swim with some of the planet's most unique, dangerous and colorful creatures, from the unusual Wolf Eel to the Giant Pacific Octopus." Directed by underwater cinematographer Howard Hall, this film features a score by Danny Elfman and narration from the likes of Finding Neverland co-stars Johnny Depp and Kate Winslet (pictured right). It's no wonder Sea packs so much bite with Captain Jack Sparrow at the helm. Its run at The Charlotte Observer Dome Theatre in Discovery Place, 301 N. Tryon St, continues through April 30. Tickets are $6-$11. More info at
