In Classical Savion, Savion Glover unites the improvisational elements of the jazz tap tradition with the structured themes of classical music. Backed by a string ensemble, Glover taps through pieces ranging from Vivaldi's Four Seasons to Bach's Brandenburg concertos. He concludes the performance with a piece that features his jazz quartet, The Otherz, redefining what tap dancing means today. Tickets range from $25-$55.
