Healing Dragons of Lake James Dragon Boat Festival

Hosted by the Healing Dragons of Lake James and Carolinas HealthCare System Blue Ridge, last year’s event raised $10,000 for the cancer treatment center at the hospital in Valdese, NC. Local and community teams will race three times for the chance to win a gold, silver or bronze award. Bring chairs to set up on the beach and watch the races. Parents can watch the race while their children play in the water. Concessions available onsite.
