The next thing you should do when trying to get a job in the cannabis industry is to learn the laws around the consumption, selling, possession, and buying of cannabis in your country. These laws are very important, and you don’t want to be caught doing an illegal job.
You should know all the laws related to the industry and how different jobs have different laws depending on what they are. You could also take a bit of extra time to learn about other countries' laws and how they work when it comes to cannabis.
It is good to be well educated in this area so that you don’t criminalize yourself or potential consumers that may buy from you.

Looking for a job in the cannabis industry is just like looking for any other job. You need to actively look for one and not just wait around for one to land in your lap. Last but not least, you should make a concerted effort to make your way out to different cannabis events and parties. This is not only a great way to experience different brands and learn more about the products that are out there, but it is also a great way to get your name out there.
Networking is the core of most business models, and you do this by talking to people and connecting with people who have similar interests. This is a great way to get a leg up into the industry while also learning about all of the new and upcoming products and how the industry works.
