In 2014 Amanda Nicastro donated a kidney for her sister at The Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC. Even though she has a certificate of heroism Amanda isn't quite sure she's the hero in this story. Her solo show "I'm Just Kidneying" takes a whimsical look into the process of living kidney donation and pokes holes into the idea of what it takes to be “hero material." "I'm Just Kidneying" is a part of the 2018 BOOM Fringe Festival presented by Que-Os Charlotte in Plaza Midwood.
