Now in his early 30s, blues guitar slinger Jarekus Singleton is one of those child prodigies who got started at an early age and has grown by leaps and bounds beyond his years. He started off playing gospel in a church, was influenced by blues greats like B.B. King and Stevie Ray Vaughn, listened to hip-hop and it’s now all been fused together in his own style as he puts his stamp on the genre.
