To the Editor:
I would like to take this opportunity to recommend the election of George Bell as District Court Judge in Mecklenburg County. It has been my privilege to know George as both a client and a friend for over 5 years. He has a genuine love for the law as well as respect and empathy for people he deals with in his profession. I have known him to be a person who is dedicated, and works tirelessly and energetically for his clients. He will undoubtedly bring these qualities to the bench, if elected.
He will be a breath of fresh air to our local judiciary, promoting accessibility that we have not usually seen from those on the bench. Additionally, he will demonstrate compassion to all while taking care to apply the law in a manner that is fair and equitable to all parties without regard to status or influence.
These are qualities that are sorely lacking in many public officials in our current political situation. To start making a positive change, I would encourage all to "Ring the Bell for change" by joining me in supporting George Bell's candidacy.
