When: Sat., Dec. 28, 11 a.m.-3 p.m. 2013
Price: $5 (suggested donation); free for members
The folks at the Gantt Center want you (yes, you) to join in for their Kwanzaa celebration. Events to mark the African-American holiday that honors life, love, unity and hope are slated throughout the day, but highlights include drumming, a candle-lighting and libation ceremony, tours of the galleries with an in-depth discussion about the museum’s Question Bridge: Black Males, and a cultural crafting bazaar.
