The Bancroft Author Series presents a night of knowledge with a lecture on an age-old debate: "Evolution - What the Fossils Say and Why it Matters" by Dr. Donald R. Prothero (professor of geology at Occidental College in Los Angeles, lecturer in geobiology at the California Institute of Technology in Pasadena and author of 21 books). Prothero will speak about up-to-date fossil evidence that provides new context and evidence into ideas about science and evolution. $15-$20. 7:30 p.m. McGlohon Theatre, 345 N.
