Last year, Rolling Stone held a contest in which an unsigned artist would win a record deal, along with being featured on the magazine’s cover. Though Canada’s sleepy rock group, The Sheepdogs, won over the rich songwriting of Broussard, she’s back on the road, determined to continue doing what she loves — performing her pop-rock tunes.
