Who's the man?

I was glad to see Mr. Mackey on the cover this week because I wanted to hear his side of the story ("The Nick Mackey you didn't know" by Cheris Hodges, April 2). I am very disappointed in the reporting. Claiming that other people didn't want him to be sheriff because they didn't get their way does not explain Mr. Mackey's abysmal record as an attorney or the fact that he abused the voting process. What is his explanation? Unfortunately, we'll never know.
