Yes, it should have been finished long ago, but getting the last bit of the big ol’ ring built is not the earth-shattering issue some folks seem to think it is. That part of the county can do without the convenience-store-at-every-exit clutter that marks our highways; plus, shouldn’t the priority be widening the part of I-485 around Pineville that turns into a parking lot every afternoon?
