Local Music Showcase set for April 11

A local music showcase will be held on April 11 at the Visulite Theatre. The event -- dubbed simply Charlotte's Local Music Showcase -- is being organized by local musician Taylor Boucher as a way to get musicians, promoters, publicists, critics and just about anyone else who is musically involved all under one roof.

The bands performing are Transmission Fields, The Not Likelys, Order of Chaos, Crossfire, The Omega Cell and Junior Astronomers. Other people participating include Creative Loafing, 106.5 The End, Triple S Booking & Promotions, J&T Music Promotions, FFM Promotions, Still Not Dead and more.

Tickets for the 18-and-up event are $10. Doors open at 7 p.m.
