LUCKY FIVE
Change can be good. The departures of guitarist Jonny Fung and bassist Andy Morimoto are sure to alter the sound of Charlotte rock outfit Lucky Five, but the addition of Greg Grant on bass and a name change could also open up some new sonic possibilities. This show will not only debut the new sound, but the until-then new name. The band’s melting pot of influences is what drew in large crowds who loved to dance the night away. Hopefully, any alterations will only provide more of the same. (Jeff Hahne)
