Maloney Lecture
Poet and essayist Christian Wiman, Senior Lecturer in Religion and Literature at Yale Divinity School, will deliver the annual Maloney Lecture in two parts. On February 15 he will discuss “Hammer Is the Prayer: On Artistic Inspiration and the Limits of Devotion,” and on February 16 he will discuss “Ten Demented Chickens: Poems, Prayers and other Expostulation.” There is no charge to attend the lectures, both of which begin at 7:30 p.m. in the Smith 900 Room of the Alvarez College Union.
