Press Release:
Nashville folk/blues artist MICVH (pronounced Micah) is bringing her soulfully acoustic show to The Evening Muse May 9th supported by local artist Yung Citizen. MICVH’s live performance is one of those beautiful interpretations of emotion coming to life right before your eyes.  Whether performing solo, as a duo, or with a full band, MICVH draws you in with her powerful voice, intimate songwriting, and simple guitar melodies that make you just melt in your seat.

You can usually find MICVH performing in rooms made up of soft lighting and cozy atmospheres.  She has a way of playing to the room whether it’s a quiet coffee shop, your neighborhood bar, or a songwriter round.  MICVH’s voice always carries above the background buzz of shuffling feet and clinking glasses turning heads with her wide vocal range spanning from folk melodies to bluesy grit.

“There’s always this moment” she says “when I start singing a song that resonates with the audience and they just stop. In that moment I can feel the whole room connected in a way that lets me know they needed to hear that just as much as I needed to share it.”

MICVH just released her debut EP titled Singularity on April 26th. She’s touring throughout the Southeast this spring targeting her home state of North Carolina as well as Tennessee.
