M.O.D.
Billy Milano knows he’s a loudmouth and couldn’t give a rat’s ass what you think of him. In the mid-’80s he fronted S.O.D. and for the past quarter century M.O.D. (Method of Destruction), a posse of thrashmeisters and speed metal maniacs that keep things simple: crank it, spew the words, thrash it and move on. Milano has shouted what’s on his mind, instilled with political dissection and a bit of humor, since he first hit the stage with a mic in hand. He doesn’t mince words either, when talking about bands who he feels are full of political b.s. Songs like “Rage Against the Mac Machine” need no further explanation. He may be a bit stiff in his world view, but give ‘im props for, well, standing his ground. M.O.D. is essentially Milano’s baby, while a revolving crew of noisemakers have been assimilated and rotated out over the years.
