Music: A pot of gold

Friday, May 9

The British-alternative, moody, melodic rock band will make their way to Charlotte, playing at Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre with Liars opening. A show worth attending, Radiohead is sure to impress. After all, they've been doing it for years now. Their newest album In Rainbows hit the No. 1 debut on the Billboard 200 album chart, shortly after its release. Radiohead will play eight cities in the United States, before heading back across the sea for a loaded European tour and then returning to finish up the second half of their North American tour. $30-$55. 7:30 p.m. Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre. 707 Pavilion Blvd. 704-549-5555. www.livenation.com.
