Sundays in Charlotte now offer one more reason for local jazz fans to get happy - that's when the Q.C.-based promoter/musician known as Sai serves up her Sai Musiq Jazz Series. This weekly live music event presents hometown and national acts playing straight-up and cutting edge jazz sounds in an intimate environment. Moreover, Sai has been responsible for bringing some big-name jazz acts to town in the last year - such as Branford Marsalis and The Robert Glasper Experiment - and that means you never know who could pop in the joint at any given moment.
