New South for the New Southerner: When the Arts Bloomed in Charlotte

WHEN THE ARTS BLOOMED IN CHARLOTTE

As part of Levine Museum’s New South for the New Southerner program — discussing Charlotte from past, present to future — this lecture touches on the Q.C.’s arts scene with a look at how the creative juices started flowing in the ’70s and ’80s. Folks attending include Dennis Rash, a visionary of arts in Uptown, and artists Paul Sires and Ruth Ava Lyons. (Anita Overcash)
