In today’s sprawling Charlotte region, are there still places to connect with an earlier rural South? Davidson-based author/photographer Mike Lassiter has tracked down a whole book full. He’ll share discoveries from his volume Vanishing Americana: A North Carolina Portrait, and the PBS documentary he produced which chronicled his journey.
