Part of the Tournées Festival. The animated flick is based off of Marjane Satrapi's graphic memoir about life in Iran under the harsh regime of Islamic revolutionists, which ultimately leads to her move onto French soil. Introduction by Professor Michèle Bissière and Zahra Bahrani-Mostafavi, Dept. of Languages & Culture Studies, UNC Charlotte. Discussion to follow the screening.
