Piedmont Dance Theatre Presents The Nutcracker
In its 17th season, Piedmont Dance Theatre has been hard at work to present their latest production of The Nutcracker. Featuring Tchaikovsky’s full music score, the entire production has been updated within the past three years and re-choreographed offering a new and fresh look for this classic performance. Artistic Director, Rebecca Massey Wiley, explains, “Our production is updated every year in an effort to continually challenge our dancers and engage the audience.” This year’s production of The Nutcracker has a cast of 110 performers and includes dancers from Piedmont School of Music & Dance, ages 6 to 51.
