The Breeder’s Kelley Deal and Ampline’s Mike Montgomery first teamed up for this project about five years ago. There’s plenty of ’90s alt influence within, as you’d probably expect and Deal’s vocals conjure up plenty of memories in this listener. For years, she was known as Kim’s sister, but after decades of work, Deal has the talent to stand on her own, regardless of the last name.
