Regional Acts Set to Melt the Q.C.

Mark and Lisa Cline -- the fine folks who brought you the Rockabilly BBQ -- are at it again. This time, they're branching out into different genres of music and more regional acts.

On Oct. 20, the duo who comprise RockabillyBabe.com Productions will present their latest event -- Queen City Meltdown. Being held at The Milestone, the event will feature a handful of bands with the same core influences -- Hank Williams, The Ramones and Elvis, to name a few.

Winston-Salem's The Bo Stevens will surely be showcasing some songs from their latest album. Greensboro's Malamondos will offer some surf and punk rock, Jacksonville, Fla., band The Kings of Hell put their own twist on rockabilly and The Hot Rods of Atlanta mix punk with Southern rock.

Charlotte's The Flat Tires are set to close out the night. Tickets are $10 and more information can be found at www.queencitymeltdown.com.
