NCM Fathom and U.S. Figure Skating will present the cinematic feature "RISE" as part of a special in-theater event on Feb. 17, 2011. This historic one-night-only event will celebrate American figure skating, while commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Feb. 15, 1961 plane crash in which all of the members of the U.S. World Figure Skating team perished. The event will include uniquely choreographed figure skating performances, interviews with American figure skating legends, a red-carpet extravaganza and the world premiere of "RISE". Peggy Fleming, Dorothy Hamill, Scott Hamilton, Brian Boitano and Michelle Kwan will serve as storytellers for "RISE".
