Southend appears to be an extension of college for some 20 somethings-how are they able to afford these apartments? and what do they have to look forward to? Everyone I know has had to gradually progress towards higher incomes, even with a Master degree in hand!
Why the need for granite counter tops and resort style pools for a first apartment out of college!?
It makes me sad to see a new city making the same mistake other established cities have made and continue to make with infrastructure and gentrification...
