ROYAL BLOOD English rock duo Royal Blood — bassist/singer Mike Kerr and drummer Ben Thatcher — have been growing a steady fan base not only because of their catchy-as-hell rock riffs, but also because no one can understand how Kerr gets such guitar-like tones from his bass. The duo played to a small crowd the last time they were in town, but chart-topping songs like “Little Monster” and “Figure It Out” ensure this one will be well-attended. (Jeff Hahne)
